Client Appearance
Configure how the client desktop looks during active sessions in your cybercafe or gaming center. All appearance settings are managed from the server and pushed to connected clients in real-time.
Themes
Design Theme decides the layout and the visual style of the client desktop. Themes are grouped into three families.
Essentials
The three base layouts. Everything else is built on one of them.
| Theme | Character |
|---|---|
| Arena | Sharp esports HUD with a cyan edge |
| Cinema | Cinematic red poster wall, closer to a TV interface |
| Tablet | Touch tile grid in indigo, built for touchscreen stations |
Color variants
The same layouts in a different accent colour.
| Theme | Base layout and accent |
|---|---|
| Neon Arena | Arena layout, neon cyan |
| Crimson Pulse | Arena layout, crimson |
| Emerald Depth | Arena layout, emerald green |
| Sunset Glow | Arena layout, sunset orange |
| Midnight Silver | Cinema layout, monochrome silver |
Immersive scenes
Animated, full-screen interfaces with their own structure rather than a recolour of a base layout.
| Theme | Character |
|---|---|
| HoloDeck | Sci-fi glass deck with cyan holographic accents |
| Starforge | Full HUD frame over a star nebula, with a floor-projected hologram ring |
| Starport | Station cockpit at planetary sunrise, with inward-tilted side consoles and a bottom library rail |
| NeonVice | Synthwave night drive: a banded retro sun over a scrolling neon grid |
| Obsidian | Anthracite lounge with monochrome volumetric smoke and a platinum sheen |
| Mirage | Scorched desert dunes with a shimmering heat haze and a terracotta accent |
| Aurora | Frosted glass panels with drifting coloured lights on a near-black canvas |
| Riptide | Deep-sea split launcher with caustic light |
| Voltage | Esports grid with live energy |
| Eclipse | Center-stage carousel with a gold corona |
An immersive theme carries a heavier interface than the essentials. Prefer one of the essentials or a colour variant on older client hardware.
Layout Presets
Four layout presets define the structural arrangement of content on the client desktop:
- Split Classic -- balanced split between the hero area and the app catalog.
- Hero Wide Top -- large hero banner at the top with the catalog below.
- Catalog Wide Bottom -- compact hero area with an expanded catalog section.
- Compact Focus -- minimal layout emphasizing a focused, clean view.
Display Configuration
Fine-tune how content is presented within the chosen layout:
| Setting | Options | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Card flow | Horizontal Scroll, Wrap to Next Line | Whether app cards scroll horizontally or wrap to fill available space. |
| Content presentation | Poster First, Icon Only | Whether app cards display poster artwork or only icons. |
| Poster ratio | 9x16, 2x3, 16x9, 4x3, 3x2, 3x4 | Aspect ratio for poster images on app cards. |
| Card density | Large, Medium, Compact | Size of app cards in the grid. |
| Hover effect | Scale + Glow, Static | Animation when customers hover over an app card. |
Additional display options include hero animation settings and side menu section configuration.
Starforge Customization
Select Starforge under Design Theme to use the WebGL client interface. The Online Layout panel is identified as Starforge · Global Online Layout while this theme is selected.
Starforge uses the existing persistent appearance controls:
| Setting | Starforge behavior |
|---|---|
| Poster ratio | Changes the WebGL geometry used for library posters. |
| Card density | Changes poster size and spacing while preserving the centered depth effect. |
| Enable featured animation | Enables or disables the WebGL transition between featured posters. |
| Featured animation type | Selects the transition direction or the deck-synchronized fade transition. |
The featured stage uses a lightly transparent WebGL frozen glass layer over a procedural aurora animation. The configured cosmos background remains visible through the stage. No poster artwork is used in the background. Each featured selection receives a different accent color and animation phase. Thin water droplets use varied speeds, curved trails and irregular pauses. Droplets fade near the panel boundary to prevent clipped shapes. Crystalline frost and moving highlights add depth. A cover-cropped poster sits above the glass on the right with a left-facing perspective. It remains inside the featured stage and has softly rounded corners, a lightly frozen rim and a shadow directly below it. The featured stage itself has lightly rounded corners. Featured and library posters preserve their image aspect ratios. Library poster geometry uses light cuts on the top-right and bottom-left corners. Library posters also have individual shadows and follow a curved WebGL orbit around the active card. Mouse wheel navigation has a faster response. Dragging changes each poster's orbit angle, depth, scale and rotation continuously without changing selection. The selection changes after release when the distance or release momentum passes the threshold. Arrow button and keyboard navigation also update the selected poster. The top-right status card shows the client host and elapsed usage time.
Background Configuration
Customize the desktop background independently of the theme:
| Setting | Options |
|---|---|
| Background type | Solid color, Image, Video, Gradient |
| Overlay opacity | 0% to 100% |
| Blur | 0 to 20 |
| Card opacity | Adjustable transparency for app cards over the background |
Media assets (images and videos) can be uploaded for use as background content.
Quick Presets
Apply a complete background configuration with one click using the built-in presets:
- Minimal -- solid dark background with low blur.
- Gaming -- conic gradient in purple and blue tones.
- Ocean -- linear blue gradient.
- Sunset -- warm gradient with orange and red tones.
- Forest -- green gradient.
Real-Time Updates
All appearance changes are pushed to connected clients immediately. When you modify themes, layouts, display settings, or backgrounds, the changes take effect on client desktops without requiring a restart.
Client QR Code
The Client QR code setting controls the persistent QR code shown on client idle and online screens. Paid plans can turn it on or off.
The QR code is required on the Free plan. The setting stays visible but locked. The server also enforces this rule when it builds the client menu data, so changing a local settings file cannot remove the QR code.
